Through Pearl's web integrated authoring tools, all emails can be created in one uniform space with seamless transitions to customization options and other enhancements. This allows your creative departments to focus on creativity in program and ad sales, and on selling Pearled ads, instead of delivery and traffic management. The Pearl authoring toolkit will integrate through your existing traffic management system's open APIs, and streamline the authoring of content and play out. Nexnet will strive to make Pearl as turnkey and effortless as possible.

Centralized Customization and Targeting

Through the web interface, your advertisers and team members can continually develop email campaigns that target specific audiences based on gender, age and/or geographic location. If you want to deliver a separate message to the 30 year-old male instead of the 20-year-old male, it is simple and intuitive to do with Pearl. Pearl's centralize architecture allows for an unlimited number of email configurations to be linked to specific Pearled content.

Pearl's proprietary back-end software also allows you to target emails to viewers based on their past viewership of your programming.  For example, a segment of the Oprah show is Pearled relating to the unveiling of the newest book in Oprah's book club.  A viewer that has viewed 5 of Oprah's shows over the past 30 days could receive an email from Pearl to buy the book at 30% off, and a viewer that is viewing this show for the first time in the last 30 days might receive a 5% off coupon along with  "Welcome to Oprah" information.

Multiple Choice RFI

Pearl's patent-pending server system allows you, the content provider, to create an RFI campaign with multiple choices on screen for the viewer to select. This allows you to engage the viewer at a much deeper level, while learning more about what they are interested in. Pearl's multiple choice service also leads into powerful voting and polling applications that can be created seamlessly through the web based Pearl-authoring tool.  Whether your viewers answer the question correctly or just want to know more about contestant A, Pearl can deliver that information seamlessly and instantly. Not only can you deliver targeted emails with specific web links, you can also configure an entire set for each possible answer choice. For example, if the viewer answered a question correctly, he or she could receive a coupon from the show sponsor in their inbox. If they didn't answer correctly, they could receive a web link to more information. Pearl gives you the ability to customize your world.

Footprint

Pearl is designed as a thin ETV-BIF application for the cable industry that can be customized for satellite TV delivery. Nexnet is actively pursuing partnerships with operators to expand the Pearl footprint. As the Pearl footprint grows, Pearl's content partners will instantly be able to distribute iTV applications through Pearl to the growing footprint. In this way, our content partners' revenues will grow without any additional effort required by the content provider.
